They turned their back on F1 Racing in order to develop a lazy person's spaz chariot that goes down stairs with slightly less grace than a space-hopper?  I'll stick with my Civic, thanks.

I can imagine, by the posture of those girls, it would do my back in within 2 minutes, and that's if I could stay on it that long without falling off.  Grin

Ermm...  Only when I've had more beers than is good for me.  Nita finds the Civic's Blackpool-style instrumentation a bit like the bridge of the Enterprise, thus a little intimidating.

As it happens, we picked up Nita's new motor today - one of these.  It's in black (same as my Civ), so we could always branch out into the Funeral business if times get tough.  78k has gone on the clock since it was made in 2002, but the comprehensive documentation shows that the previous owner spent almost a grand on having the engine rebuilt and other stuff in February - just before P/Xing it.  Condition of the car is now A1+ and it was sold to us by an honest car enthusiast, rather than a dealer, so we're rather hoping the zombies will steer clear of it.

For me, perhaps the biggest relief is that we've finally been able to use the whizzy Pioneer CD player I, somewhat impulsively, bought Nita for Christmas.  It wouldn't actually fit into the Hyundai AtoZ without a great deal of hassle because of its weird dash; The Daihatsu Charade already had one; The Ford Ka, ditto.

Fourth time lucky, n'cest pas?

She actually doesn't mind them getting in her way.  It's the morons who suddenly drive into her from the side and rear that are the problem.  She was considering one of these, but they can be a bit thirsty on petrol.

It's started.  She lost a (badly-fitted) wheel trim this afternoon.   Cry
