Hiper Anubis Case
« on: May 19, 2010, 11:36 »
In my continuing quest to emulate the legend that is Bat69, I've just treated myself to one of these very wonderful PC cases.  Linky thingy.

On the downside, it comes with only one fan fitted (in the lid of the case), but adding others to the front and back was an absolute doddle - I've used 120mm Hiper chrome ones with blue LEDs, which make it look the puppy's plums.  Also, it's rather larger and heavier that I probably would have liked, with the result that it dwarfs yer average garden shed and requires a forklift truck to move when fully populated with gubbins.

On the 'plus' side, it runs cooler than a snowman with a kipper tie and is ridiculously easy to work on.  Oh yes, and it only cost an insanely piffling £49.99 plus 12 quid P&P.  Because I bought the fans and a keyboard from the same dealer they were also included with the carriage charge.

Buy one now while the going's good.  Go on, you know you want one.  Just do it.   :hatoff:

It's that dangerous price, where it's almost worth just having it.  ;D

Is the whole left hand side of it one large air filter ??? If so i'd be very interested as my current main pc collects so much dust inside it's a joke  :dunno:

Hiya Dave, that left-hand side panel is actually a mesh grille on the outside which covers a perspex window on the inside.  Add the two (optional) push and pull fans and dust won't hang around long enough to collect inside the case.  It's all constructed quite beautifully and I want to have its babies.

More blurb on Hiper's site, HERE.
