The founder of the Dubliners has passed away. His distinctive voice and and fabulous songs will be missed.

They were a big part of my folk years - that gravelly voice was unmistakable.

Technically, I won't be a State pensioner for another five years. OTOH, I've been drawing an occupational pension for 28 years. :)

Hah - beat you to it. I got my military pension when I was 29 years old.

He left behind a lot and its all on CD and DVD......and I would guess a million memories for people to cherish,cant ask much more of any human being.....RIP Ronnie and Thanks :cry:
