Google and Intel have teamed up with Sony to develop a platform called Google TV to bring the Internet to a new generation of televisions and set-top boxes, The New York Times said Wednesday.

Bye bye Micro$oft too! It's about time that TV sets came with Internet capability and I'm surprised that it hasn't been done before.

well Virgin boxes have had basic internet in them for a while

My satellite receiver will do You tube and limited internet and email if I set it up to do it.
