Ntl

Does anyone on here use ntl as their isp? I've heard that you can get a good deal on your telephone, tv and internet through them. To be honest I quite sick of Sky and BT so if anyone can tell me what they're like it would be much appreciated.

I have heard mixed reports about NTL, but they do offer some good all-in-one packages.  Why don't you check out some of THESE COMMENTS on ISPr, Whiskers?  It might be some help, at least from the ISP prospective.   :)
Many thanks to all our members, who have made PC Pals such an outstanding success!   :thumb:

I have a few friends use it for broadband and are delighted with the price/service Whiskas. I dont know anyone who just has 56K on it but as Rodders will confirm, their half BB service seems to be exceptionally good value  :-*

I have a number of customers who use NTL broadband connections Whiskas. They don't appear to have very many problems with the service that NTL provides.

Apparently the technical support isn't too responsive, but that could be said about almost any ISP these days.

I believe they install the covetted Broadband free of charge.

Thanks for that Simon I'll check it out  ;D

Yes my friend did say that it can take a while to get through to customer services but when you do they are very helpful.

Start here, Whiskas.   ;)

The £50 start-up is only waived during promotions, but you might be lucky -- I was!   :)

Whiskers, I am with NTL and also have Boadband. I have nothing but praise and the charge is just £16.50 per month which I am led to believe is exceptionally cheap in comparison to other ISP's  :o so I would highly recommend this an an option

What little extras are you getting for that then, Serenity?  They're only charging me £14.99 pcm.  For that I get 128kb BB, which actually works at 256kb because I'm in an ex-Cable & Wireless franchised area.   ;D

whiskas, i would definitely recommend ntl broadband. 128k is £14.99 a month, 600k £24.99, 1 meg £34.99. i've got the 600k and i would never go back to dialup.

i didnt know that the 128k runs at 256k in ex c&w areas, as rodders says, sounds too good to last for long (til ntl realise).

i'm sure that if you pushed them you'd at least get free installation.

 ;)
