Simon:
We often get people askling how they can find out the details of hardware on their PCs.  Well, here are a few free tools which can do the job.  If you know of any others, preferably freeware (and without spyware / adware), please add to the list.

AIDA32 (Discontinued but still available to download)
Belarc Advisor (Dead simple)
PC Wizard (Fairly advanced)

"Everest" is a very good one.   http://www.lavalys.com/

Rodders:
It's probably about time Speccy was added to this list.  Although Speccy is still in 'beta' for the moment, I've used it myself and can advise that it shows every sign of becoming a very useful tool indeed.  Speccy comes from the same stable as CCleaner, Defraggler and Recuva, so has a pedigree it can be justly proud of.
