Yes Tony, you're exactly right. If I can get the demo version of either Midpoint or Surf Doubler to work, I would 'connection team' Fast24 128K and Plusnet 64K (soon to be 128K, giving me 192K now and 256K shortly .
Sean you're right too about the gateway, which is what the Midpoint and Surf Doubler software takes care of (when it works).
The monthly ex VAT costs for me for this lot are not as bad as you might think:
