MystikalAngel:
I just bought the pc game Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban for my son. I have all the requirements for the game. After I install the game and he goes to play the game it says video hardware does not meet requirements. I know I meet all the requirements. I have askef everywhere for some help but no one seems to know. Can someone please help me.. I know nothing about computers and my son is going to kill me soon lol.. thanks
Serenity:
Hi MystikalAngel :welcome: Im afraid I'm not a games guru but I'm sure some of the techies here will be able to shed some light on your problem shortly.
Just out of interest, what operating system are you using? and do you know how much memory the PC has?
Simon:
From the error message you are getting, it does sound like your graphics card doesn't meet the requirements of the game. How old is the PC, and do you know if it has a separate graphics card, or does it have on board (the motherboard) graphics? It may be that you just need to update the graphics drivers, or you may have to consider upgrading your graphics card.
sam:
or there might be a patch for the game... have a look on the games website.
MystikalAngel:
Well to answer all the questions.. I have xp home edition... my computer is 7 months old i have tons of free space... and i have intel extreme graphics it came with the card.. someone told me something about turning off the 3d on the game.. but never explained how to do it..
