Too many "Star Wars" films for me, I'm afraid. It would have been nice to have seen "Outland" and "Serenity" listed instead.

"Serenity" was a spin off from an American TV series called "Firefly". If you get the chance to watch the TV series (it's available on DVD) do so. Strongly recommended.

well i havent seen serenity yet, cause i heard about firefly about a month before it came out (I decided i should watch this before the film) and I brought it a week ago (whilst on offer at £17 in hmv!)
.... i just havent had the time to sit down and watch it yet


also i think there are many other films that should or could be in that list...but for a scifi list it isnt too bad
