Alien Ant Farm
Rodders:
Are any of you people fans of Alien Ant Farm? If you are, then you probably don't need me to tell you about the horrendous 2002 tour-bus crash in Spain which killed their driver and resulted in a broken neck for singer Dryden Mitchell and other injuries to the band and crew. Since record companies are run by Accountants and Lawyers with little or no interest in Music, it may not come as too much of a surprise to learn that AAF's label therefore hung them out to dry afterwards (allegedly). That's Showbiz.
However, it's not all bad news. For reasons best known to those close to the band, their wonderful third (sic) album '3rd Draft' is available for download HERE. Oh yeah, and there's a ton of other stuff too: unreleased tracks; alternative takes; videos; etc. Die-hard Antholics may also wish to download their very first (self-produced) effort, amusingly entitled 'Greatest Hits'. Go on, fill yer boots!
(Edited for p*ss-poor spelling)
Simon:
I bought one of their albums on the strength of the cover they did of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal", which was excellent, but I found the album to be instantly forgettable. I'm quite surprised they are to your taste, Rod. :susp:
Rodders:
Well at least I've got some!
