35mm Scanner.
« on: June 02, 2006, 22:50 »
Recently I was given (yes, given) a 35mm slide scanner manufactured by PacificImage electronics.
The software loaded without hitch (other than asking me if I wanted to ignore certain locked files, to which I  clicked Ignore).
The hardware seemed to load OK too, but I can?t make it work.
I select file, click select source and a window comes up with this scanner and my main scanner listed.
I select this scanner.
Next, I select file and click Acquire, and nothing happens.
If I again select file and click on Acquire, the whole lot locks up.
Can anyone help please?
My op sys is Windows XP, and I have at least 50Gb of free space.

Boxer.

Could be a driver problem Pollard. Try this site and download uptodate driver for your particular model.
