Might be best to check that, in case it's not saving the cookie like it should do.

Ok done all that and guess what it works.
But that has been the case before, the test will be when I try it again tommorrow. Maybe I should just reboot now and see if it is still working.

I also deleted the bookmarks I had for it and replaced them with the new one and I have rebooted and it's all good.

Surely, if Avant is using the IE engine, any vulnerabilities in IE would also be present in Avant?

umm, probably.. but the question is is it using the IE engine or just emulating it? Also the core of IE might be fine just the rest! lol

Simon is correct. Avant is just a tarted up IE which must have all the same vulnerabilities.

You're correct Sam, it's only when I go to the checkout I have to change to IE. I always just use IE now when I go to ebuyer and it works much faster.

Is it a Paypal issue Lona, if so I came across this in the Mozilla Add-ons.

No, Misty, I have no problems paying by paypal using Firefox.

I do have problems on Egg.com though and can only view my other bank accounts if I use IE.

A message comes up on Egg saying to have access through Egg to your other accounts you require IE.
