Finally, after more than two decades, a Revolutionary War musket was finally pried from Charlton Heston's cold dead hand following his death on Saturday.
"We debated whether to go ahead and pry it loose or not," the funeral director stated, "but when his family was informed that the casket wouldn't close with the musket still attached, there really was no other good option."
