Charlton Heston Dies

Reno:
I wonder how many robbers and rapist were blown away during breakins. I wonder if you'll feel the same when it's one of these fine examples of UK society climbing through your window. I grew up with my dad's guns all around me. The loaded ones were kept out of my reach until I grew old enough to be explained what they were and what respect they deserved. Being a parent demands that certain precautions be taken with dangerous objects, whether those objects be a wall outlet, a bottle of cleaner, a bottle of pills, or the gun in its case under the bed.

Sandra:
I think that we should have a better gun control system here Bob.
As it is now its only the criminals that can have hand guns.
We should be allowed to keep a gun, at least in our homes for self defence and if anyone breaks in and gets killed then thats the criminals fault for carrying out an illegal act.
This would solve a lot of problems.
We wouldnt need as many jails, thats if they actually bothered jailng anyone for house burglaries anymore.
Anyone shot dead would be unable to continue their chosen career of being a repeat and perpetual offender.
It would hopefully act as a deterrent to a lot of would be burglars.

gmax:
Sure you keep a gun at home, when you out i will break in in and steal it, thanks ;),
would you like a gun related homicide rate of the USA ?

Reno:
Go figure. If your country was as large and your population was as dense I imagine your crime rates would be higher too. Do you think not having the right to own a gun makes you safer?

gmax:
Yes, i feel safe, i would rather not live in a country where everyone has a gun.
A dense population does not mean a high crime rate, India, Japan, China?
