Sad news, but of the era. I preferred Love Thy Neighbour, which of course, we're not allowed to see any more.  ::)

What a shame :( .  As a child, I remember rushing to finish my Sunday evening bath so I could be ready in time to watch On The Buses.  Stan, Blakey and Jack were always a treat.
