Website copier
Tony:
Here is a free and easy to use program that allows you to copy the complete contents of a website so you can view it off line. It also quickly up dates an already copied and save website http://www.httrack.com/index.php
Clive:
You really do need to get BB fast Tony! Saving webpages to view them offline are distant memories. But I admit that it's very handy for those on PAYG.

I would imagine something like this could be useful to a student, who might want to download a particular site onto their laptop, to enable them to work while on a long train journey back to campus following a visit home.
Although I rarely use the browser, doesn't Internet Explorer have something similar built-in? I'm sure I've seen a "Make Available Offline" option hidden amongst the menus. As for myself, although I don't have BB, I live just 20 yards from a large public library with about 50 PCs available for free use. Therefore, I rarely reach anywhere near my 200 hours a month free-call allowance with my home ISP, so offline browsing never enters my head.
Rodders:
'Make Available Offline' is under Favourites, Dave. If you right-click on the entry and then select Properties, you can tick the option to save it for offline browsing.
Note this may not work in all versions Windows -- my memory doesn't go back much beyond lunchtime. ;D
