Stupid place to put it anyway!  My previous phone came with a stack of little cards with my name on that announced the number.  I still carry one around with me in my wallet.   :D

Hope you find it easier to use than my all singing all dancing Samsung that I got given recently.
Unfortunately it didnt come with a manual, the predictive text was set to on, not that I use text but if I did I want to say what I want to say not what the bloody phone wants me to say. The thing was set to vibrate, admittedly a useful function at times but I just wanted a normal ringing tone.
The ring tone it came with was terrible and when I looked through the list of tunes on the phone I found a few that were acceptable but each time I selected one to use it said it wasnt able to use it  >:(
I had to take it to my neighbours, a lovely couple in their 30s who think that I am the most technical person they know as I sort out their PC and satellite problems. They couldnt believe that I couldnt work out how to set up my phone  :o:
Mark managed to sort out the vibrate and the predicitive text but even he couldnt get the ring tone to change.
Eventually I downloaded the manual from Samsung and found out that I had to use a silly format to be able to use it as a ringtone.
I now have Dave Edmunds playing Sabre Dance which is a bit different to other peoples.
Apart from when I set it up I think I have only heard it ring three times since I changed it in april.  :)

I haven't got as far as ring tones yet Sandra.  But mine didn't come with a manual either.  It just has an instruction leaflet which is far from adequate in my opinion.  If it wasn't for the fact my old phone refuses to work in America I would have kept it.  But it is useful to stay in contact while abroad.  I don't like all this free call nonsense which is only to encourage me to use it as often as possible because the free calls expire.  Tesco should stick to selling food!  I've managed to add numbers into the phone book but only after Tesco tricked me into installing all their numbers in first.  Why would I ever want to phone Tesco Clubcard?   :dunno:  I now only have 10p left of my free 20p call time.   :(

No, even the box is too small to include a CD.  But there is a website available so if I get stuck I will look at that.  I've now found the ringtone selection but haven't worked out how to try them out yet.  "Play" doesn't work.   ::)  The sound is quite high so it's not on mute either.   ;D

"Play" should work.  This is a 'real' phone, and not one you picked up in the toy department by mistake?  :)x

Not really sure Simon.   It certainly remains a possibility!  I've chosen a ringtone by painstakingly dialling each and every option from my landline.  I've also signed up online to do wonderful things.  Such as top up my credit although I've accidentally switched my tariff but I can change it back again in 48 hours.  I haver no idea what I've changed it to!    I've turned off alerts from Tesco to advise me that potatos are on offer this week so I consider that to be a triumph.  I've added my 5 half price numbers and flirted with the text screen but I don't understand what I'm supposed to do.  All my contacts have been put in.  Oh, it has a camera!  And a radio!  I think I can turn it into a juke box too.  But why would I want to do that?   :dunno:    Good heavens - there are games on it!  Why?  ! still have my 10p credit.  I've learnt that the free credit can't be used abroad.  What a swiz!   ::)  I've registered both my Tesco Clubcard and my top up card.  The phone lights up too.  And there are colours!!   :o
