It shows the power of the iPhone that people are scrambling to make phones that look something like it.

Well, it's a trend like so many others. I expect one day, we'll see the return of great big buttons.

Rik:
Handy for those with poor eyesight or big, clumsy, fingers. :)

Simon:
I sometimes wish I had a phone with buttons, but the trouble is, the buttons are too small on anything but the most basic models.
