Would Mailstore Home be a good enough answer for you. You'd have the mails, just in an archived form.

I can't think of anything else to suggest.

Nope Rik:

An error has occurred
This feature requires Microsoft Outlook 2000 or higher

 ???

totally sucks. I suppose I could try and archive the pst files directly, but for that they charge $190

I think now my only option is to get rid of outlook 2010 and try to move back to 2003 or 2007. I have the programs but not sure I have the codes... anyway, if that works, and I don't lose anything having been using 2010 for a year, then all these programs that aren't seeing Outlook 2010 will hopefully see the older versions

I think obviously now this is my central problem. Nothing has the ability to see that Outlook 2010 is actually installed. I can't imagine I'm the only one going through this...

     maybe    ;D

OK, so I just found an old copy of Office 2007. Threw it on no problem. Inbox search works instantly. Index status says all items are indexed but doing a search of all mail items has been running 10 min with no results yet. So not sure what's going on there.

But just opened Thunderbird and I'm importing mail as we speak! Just like that.....

Crisis isn't over just yet, but wow, why didn't I do this months ago!??   :ack:

Leads me back to seeing if I can't get the Mail programs others mentioned to work now, as well as possible archiving on Google

At least this is the first good sign!
