Film/negative scanners

Any thoughts any one on film/negative scanners. I have a Canon 8800f flat bed scanner which is superb but am thinking about buying a dedicated film scanner. Prices seem to vary so much ranging from one in M&S reduced to £39.99 to a Plustek at about £240. Any one with any experience of these would be nice.    :D

I would think Rik might be your man for this, Den.  He's had guests this weekend, but may be in later, if not, tomorrow.

I have both a Veho stand-alone and a Canon 8800f.  Save your money Den.  We find the Canon meets all our needs and we no longer use the Veho.
