There's no manual to read Terry.     OK, I'm downloading iTunes.  Gulp.  I don't think it has a touch screen Sam.  But there is an inlet for the steam and pressure gauge if that's any help?   :dunno:

Yipee! Aldi had a solar charger for iPods and phones yesterday, Clive, might be worth checking if it's still around.

I have a Nano and tried and didnt like itunes so had a bit googling and found there is other software available to manage your music stc.

I found this site that tells you how to install itunes with out the bloat, then you can use which ever software you like.I use mediamonkey  its good enough for what I need and its a decent player too.I cant put photos on my nano from mediamonkey but I didnt want it for that, just music so thats ok

Thanks Baz.  This is all a big adventure for me at the moment and I'm still looking for Greensleeves played by King John's minstrels.

I haven't made a great deal of progress today but I've received further instructions from a forum member.  Tomorrow may be a big day.   ;D
