The 2 isn't light, the 3 is a bit heavy.

My son says that the important difference is 'retina recognition' whatever that might be!  Apparently it's important to oldies like me.   ::)  They are still making the iPad 2 which is around £100 cheaper than the 3.  Sadly, I can't have his old 2 because he's given it to my 4yr old grandson.   :laugh:

The retina screen is better but not hugely so. I haven't come across retina recognition.

Isn't the retina thing just where you hold your finger on something, and a bubble comes up enlarging it?
