Strangely, I read an article in today's Daily Telegraph which says it's very good.  But nowhere near good enough to save RIM.  The competition is much better and about to get even better.   :-\

The problem RIM / BlackBerry now have is that many people think similarly to you, Clive, and won't buy into a product / company they believe may have a limited life span.  I don't like the shape of the iPhone 5 and the size and specs of the BB Z10 trump the Apple product all the way.  It's just a shame they let things sink so far, as it's going to be a massive struggle back to the surface now, for BlackBerry.

My son is always annoyed that his company provides him with a Blackberry which refuses to pick up a signal half the time.  He's a dyed in the wool Apple fan.   :)

I don't find the iPhone holds the signal any better than my old BlackBerry around here.  There's a point where it switches from 3G to GSM, and I can almost guarantee a dropped call at that point.
