Hi everyone again, Today I'm having major problem with IE and Edge. I failed to be able to open sites in Edge most of the time but sometimes the would open. Then I found I was having a similar problem with IE. The strange thing was that I could access the sites (BBC.co.uk) with Chrome. I have tried most things including reinstalling Creaters Update.

I now find that I can open sites (Edge) by accessing via New Private Window.

Any help would be nice as I have been at this for a few hours now. By the way I am typing his using Edge with New Private Window active.

Not sure I can help, Den, as I haven't got the Creators Update yet, and don't use IE or Edge.  For what it's worth, I've not had any problems opening sites on my Windows 10 laptop this evening, using my usual Sea Monkey browser.

I have fitted a new SSD Drive and reinstalled Windows 10  ::) I now have a very fast PC and having fun reinstalling programs. The only problem I seem to be having is with my music library (my old HD is now running as a backup drive with my settings still on there) iTunes has picked up my list of songs but can't find the songs themselves. I'm about to try again as I've now signed in the Microsoft and a lot of files and settings have appeared as if by magic.  :thumb:

You need to make sure that the songs themselves are in the iTunes library that the current iTunes is using.  One easy method is to open iTunes go to File > Add Files and Folders, then navigate to the folder where the songs are on the old drive, and add the entire folder.  There is also a tick box somewhere in iTunes settings to make it copy all new files to the iTunes folder.  Make sure that is ticked before you add the songs.

I now have 3 versions of all songs of which I can only play 1, the rest are just song folders with no music inside. I can't find away of deleting the empty folder other than one at a time.

I have also installed Musicbee and yesterday it loaded all the empty folders and today I uploaded all the correct folders and was able to automatically delete the duff folders, so that one works fine.

I hate Apple.  ::)  Any thought on deleting the library otherwise its a very long job doing it one at a time.

Can you not delete the empty folders from the iTunes folder, wherever it is stored?  There must be a way to sort by folder size, in which case you can delete all the ones with 0 bytes.

It sounds to me like you've managed to mix up the old library with the new one.  I think perhaps, if it was me, I'd delete the whole lot (making sure I had a backup first), then re-import the entire library from the old hard drive, thus creating a new library on the new drive.
