For the record my WD failed after just a couple of years and I've now switched to Samsung.

You will probably find they are all made by the same manufacturer, and that none of them are 100% bulletproof.   :-\

You are probably correct Simon.

Den:
I have set up the WD.MyCloud and can now access all my music and photos even when my computer is turned off or in sleep mode on my own private cloud.

Clive:
Almost as good as a private jet Den.   8-)
