Singer Janet Jackson has officially confirmed she is expecting her first child, at the age of 50.

Good luck with that Janet.  You will be 70 when the child reaches 20.  And that egg you just fertilised is 50 years old.   ::)

Any child born to a woman of that age has a good chance of some sort of disability, such as Down's syndrome.  Not really very fair, is it?   ':|
