Hi all, Has anyone else updated today and how have you got on with this major update?

All seems well here and running very smooth indeed.  ;D

I've not noticed any difference, but I did have a huge update over the weekend, which resulted in an hour long reboot.   ::)

I don't seem to have it available for my own machine.

It only came out on Tuesday so yours sounds as if its the pre release that came out a couple of weeks ago. Just check the system file to see if you have been updated if you see version 1709 then you are there.  ;)

As long as it works, to be honest, I don't really care, Den.  I'd just quite like it if Windows 10 would occasionally give me some time on my own computer to do what I want to do, without it being slowed down by constant bloody updates.   >:(

Microsoft could turn into Apple and make your computer obsolete when they announce an update.

You have to install 1703 before they let you move on to 1709. Try again it should be there by now (or perhaps mid/west Wales is out of bounds).  :D

Just for you Clive, don't tell Simon.  ;)
