Mine seems to have behaved itself for the most part tonight, so hopefully my delay setting has worked.  :)

The changes seem really good indeed. Just a gentle learning curve.  8-)

Mine went into a "critical crash" this morning and had to be restarted after it sent lots of data to Microsoft.  Presumably blocking the update has worked.   :thumb:

I'm using a tablet. The PC isn't being switched on for at least another 48 hours. By then, enough time should have elapsed for the major defects to have come to light.
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is readily adopted.

and this is supposedly progress  :ack:
i've jumped through hoops to keep MrsDaveeb's win 10 pc update free, but despite my best efforts it looks like it started last night....She was alerted to the fact that something was happening because her wifi got turned off by windows  >:( >:(  and sure enough there's a mile long queue of stuff that WILL install whether she likes it or not.

I think I'll just turn my Windows 10 laptop on, leave it in a cupboard for 48 hours, and just let it get on with it.   :bawl:

No more mishaps with mine.  And no updates.   :thumb:  Mrs Clive is delighted that I've connected her iPad to the printer network and it now prints out both sides of a sheet of paper.  Not quite sure I deserve the credit but I will gladly accept it.   ;D
