Hopefully I will be able to tune into Radio 2 on the way to work again after December.  ;D
Fourth in the 2018 Quiz of the Year but at least I beat Clive.

Fantastic news!  I've always detested him.

No surprise to hear Zoe Ball is taking the slot:

Yay!  I've always liked Zoë Ball and reviled the money-grabbing Ginger Whinger.

Now, can we have a shake-up on Radio 4's breakfast show too?

The programme got a new editor at the start of the year and she's changed the format to cover items that aren't newsworthy.  If I wanted book, opera and film reviews, I'd listen to one of Radio 4's excellent programmes dedicated to those topics.

Whilst I wish John Humphries and the rest of the presenters were more interested in getting fine details out of their interviewees rather trying to get a scoop by humiliating them, I'd prefer to hear that as opposed to an interview with the curator of a new Frida Kahlo exhibition in Weymouth.  No wonder so many former Today listeners have jumped ship recently - apparently to Radio 3!

I can't believe Radio 3 is still going!  Surely it can't have that many listeners?

I knew one once.  He enjoyed chamber music which was a speciality of Radio 3.

I've tried to listen to Radio 3 but the music doesn't work for me.  My radio listening tends to be the local BBC station, Classic FM, and Jonnie Walker's Sounds Of The Seventies.  If I wake up early I'll tune into Today, which usually sends me back to sleep.

I have to confess being a fan of Walker since his Radio Caroline days.  Shame he had that drugs issue which spoilt his career to a certain extent.  When I'm in London it's a diet of LBC which I quite enjoy.
