Changing bundle on Tesco mobile

And I did it!  It was easier to phone them in the end although the guy was seriously painful keeping me on the phone for half an hour saying "one more thing".  It was never ending.   :facepalm:  He asked what phone I had and he said I could have a new one for £7.50 a month.  I declined.  Did I require a new sim card.  No.  One is on the way by first class post so I should receive it by August.  I don't think the upgrade takes effect for a few days but he's lobbed in some free data to tide me over.   ::)

If it's just a tariff change, it should happen immediately, unless they particularly want it to start from your billing date.
