Bank pay app

Anyone heard of this?  My credit card provider is touting this new method of payment as it is much quicker and simpler.

Is it this?

I still carry cards as I haven't got around to trusting payments by my phone yet.  I can swipe or scan a card much quicker in a restaurant than it seems to take people fiddling about with their phones.

It seems a bit like Apple Pay but I’ll pop into my branch when I get home.  It might be my last visit before it closes in September.  We will then have just one bank left in the town- a Welsh one called Principality.  During the past few years Barclays, HSBC, NatWest, and Lloyds have gone!

We're quite lucky here, in that we still have branches of all of the 'Big Four' banks, plus Halifax, Nationwide and a couple of other building societies.

I say 'lucky' - I've not been into my bank for years...

;D

We seems to be able to keep hold of things here.  We still have a fully functioning M&S store, where others have closed.

Brighton is far bigger and more exciting than Porthcawl so I’m confident you will hang onto most of your banks in the short term.
