Random Audio on my laptop
« on: May 02, 2025, 14:53 »
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with this, I watch hours of fishing video's and catch up tv on my laptop but I keep getting random music / adverts playing over whatever I'm watching, which can often drown out whatever I am watching so I end up pausing it until the sound stops, which is most annoying (as I've put up with this for ages now)  >:(
Can anyone suggest a simple solution to this please ?

many TIA Keith

Try downloading Malwarebytes Free and running it to see if you've picked up a nasty.

It sounds like possibly popups playing in the background.  I've not used it myself, but I've heard good things about uBlock Origin:
