Turning off power
« on: July 17, 2003, 09:46 »
Just a quickie - I had turned off the power to my PC last night, in case of lightning, but when I turned it back on this morning, everything worked, except my USB keyboard, which was dead.  I then disconnected it from the USB port, and plugged it back in again, after which it worked fine.

Is it common for USB devices to behave in this way?   :-\

Hi Simon
Not common but not unknown, some time I have to unplug my card reader and plug it back in again for it to register
