how do i put the news fader above the First forum title? right now in the text wrapper i can put the fader below the first catagory heading but not above. gives things a real weird look.

Is yours a YaBB SE forum then BBB?

AFAIK the News Ticker is part of the <YABB MAIN> tag in the forum template. I don't think you can change its position without changing some of the code in BoardIndex.php  :-\
