2.13. I just installed Mozilla and now it stole the .jpeg and .gif file associations! (Windows)

Open the Preferences dialog (Edit | Preferences). Open Advanced | System catagory. In the file association box, uncheck all checkboxes for images. Mozilla will revert them back to their previous settings.

Nice one, Tony!  I just used the Choose Program function in Windows to reset mine.

If you are using the Mozilla Mail client, you may want to download the UK dictionary.  The link from the mail client does not seem to work at the moment, so here is the place you need.  Just untick the ones you don't want.

Now downloading, i think it will make a nice addition to my growing list of tools to add to Mandrake 9.1 (in itself soon to be 9.2)

There's an icon in your system tray, Michelle, which shows Moz is active.  It's never happened to me (but I don't have ME)  :P  but could you be opening it twice?

I dunno ........  it happens if I click on a link too, but I've got rid of that one in the system tray now, so I'll see if it was that.

Well, the one in the system tray is to make it start up quicker.  It should stay there really.  I'm wondering if it could be to do with the tabs?  Have a look in Edit > Preferences, and have a fiddle with the Tabs settings (see below), and see if that makes any difference.

Mine is the same as yours simon apart from I don't have the section titled.

When opening a bookmark group .... ?

I got rid of it in the system tray because I have to restart so often, and everything in there was taking so long, so I only have 4 things now.

Here's a useful guide to installing Mozilla, just in case there's anyone else who wants to give it a try.   :D
