:sokay: Like I say, I have a work around

Edit: well bugger me, it's showing trailers straight from the player now, without going via the webpage. When I swopped the boxes around on that "access programs" box, It did little loading thingies, must have done something then.  Well that's good, I ain't got a PC prob right now....poor Hooky  ::)

Cheers fellow Chuckle  ;D

Well, whatever the trouble was, it must have been bloody Windows, not Mozilla!   ;D ;D

Yes ive got Mozilla back on my system, i just cant seem to leave it alone :)

Is there anyway to resize the favourites (on the bar next to the bookmarks) so i can read all the text instead of a truncated version?

Hope you are all well -

Yes, now I see what you mean.  I don't actually use the Bookmarks Toolbar myself, as I prefer the drop down list from the Bookmarks button.  I don't think there's a way in the usual Preferences, but you could try typing about:config in the address bar, and you'll find lots of tweaks in there, if you can understand them.  I had a quick look and couldn't see anything obvious, but you might spot something, Adam.  Also, as Mozilla is open source, I assume that means that someone who knows about code might be able to get in and have a fiddle, but I wouldn't have a clue even where to find it!

You could ask on the Mozilla forums, but you may find they are full of geeks, who are not always as friendly as we are!

Here's a nice little utility to create a backup of your Mozilla profile.  This includes your bookmarks, e-mails, address books, etc, all backed up under one roof.

niffty little prog there Simon, but where does it store the backups, that what I want to know?

I just export my bookmarks to my backup drive. And I copy the mail folder in the Mozilla folder to the same drive, that saves every thing in Moz Mail. It's a hiden folder but I just open the Nero wizard, click cancel, expand page and drag and drop.

That caught me out as well Tony, but you can store the backups where you like by using the Browse button (see below).  Obviously you would need to create a file to browse to first.

Doh !!!!

Edit:

well I moved the folder with the prog in to my  "backup" drive, and backed up Moz with it. I then went into Moz and deleted an email in my inbox, closed down, entered "restore  profile" in backup prog, and Bobs Your Uncle, it was back.

Another excellent find Simon, well done.
