Title: Desktop icon

So I've set my new computers up and all has gone very well.  So far!  One problem I haven't managed to solve is that the desktop icon has vanished from the tray at the bottom, so I have to close everything down to get at the desktop!  Any idea how I get it back?  I'm running XP Home.
Strangely, it's visible on Mrs Clive's machine.

Right click just above the Start button and select properties Clive. Go to Taskbar and tick Show Quick Launch  :)
