A new study recently found that humans eat more bananas than monkeys.

I can't remember the last time I ate a monkey.   ::)

A Pastor was explaining that he must move on to a larger congregation that will pay him more.

There is a hush within the congregation. No one wanted him to leave.

Joe Smith, who owns several car dealerships in the City stands up and proclaims, 'If the Pastor stays, I will provide him with a new Cadillac every year and his wife with a Honda mini-van to transport their

children!' The congregation sighs in relief, and applauds.

Sam Brown, a successful entrepreneur and investor, stands and says, 'If the Pastor will stay on here, I'll personally double his salary, and also establish a foundation to guarantee the college education of all

his children!' More sighs and loud applause.

Sadie Jones, age 88, stands and announces with a smile, 'If the Pastor stays, I will give him sex!' There is total silence.

The Pastor, blushing, asks her, 'Mrs. Jones, whatever possessed you to say that?'

Sadie's 90 year old husband Jake is now trying to hide, holding his forehead with the palm of his hand, and shaking his head from side to side, while his wife replies,

'Well, I just asked my husband how we could help, and he said, 'screw him!'

   AFs like to explore!

You are not reading the car into space statement correctly Simon.  It says that driving a car vertically into space is conjecture.  Try it again!

If you got into your car, turned on the ignition and drove up to the sky at 60 mph, it would take just one hour to get to outer space, according to astronomer Fred Hoyle. Of course, this is purely a theoretical, but it sure is fun to think about!

Is it theoretical?  Surely they know how far it is to outer space, and if you're travelling at a certain speed, isn't it just a matter of a calculation?

Perhaps an early understanding of automobiles inspired Queen Elizabeth II's lifelong love of cars. Her collection of vintage Rolls-Royces, Daimlers, Bentleys, and other brands is estimated to be worth 10 million, according to Business Insider.

She has a collection?!  Bet one of them would raise more than Diana's Ford Escort!   ;D

If the Earth's time zones were each one hour apart, then we would have 24 times zones, which sounds pretty straightforward. However, the situation is a little more complicated than that. Since many time zones only differ by 30 or 45 minutes, they don't fit into a neat and tidy 24-hour span, which means that there are more than 24, though it's hard to say exactly how many.

Because he got a 25 percent profit share, Colonel Tom Parker was always finding new ways to get fans to spend. He even decided to market to Presley's haters. He came up with the idea to sell badges that read "I Hate Elvis," "Elvis is a Jerk," and "Elvis the Joik" ("jerk" in a New York accent).

By the 1990s, Russia's Lake Karachay had been so heavily polluted by nuclear waste that an hour's worth of exposure to it could kill a human.
