It's more than 10 years old and still works!  I can carry it to my car quite easily by using a fork lift truck.   :D

Like Clive, I just want a phone that I can ring people on and that they can ring me on. No need for text messaging, playing music or taking photos.
I did however get a phone given to me from a friend when he got a new contract phone 2 weeks ago that is of the all singing and dancing variety.
When I slide the top part up it says network unavailable, it took me a day or two to realise that it meant the WAP network, not the actual phone one  ::)
I suppose the camera part may come in handy as its 3mp with flash, but I havent found out how to switch the flash on yet and if I really wanted to take photos I would either use my digital camera or for very special and detailed photos I would of course use my Olympus OM4 Ti 35mm film camera.
The one thing I like about this phone is that I only need to charge it about once every 4 or 5 days, my old nokia and the motorola before that had to be charged each evening, even though I dont make or receive a call for weeks on end most of the time.

I agree about wanting a phone that just does phone calls.  My cheap and cheerful nokia goes over a week between charges even tho' its nearly 3 years old..battery life was my main criterion when I bought it. Everything else is a gimmic that just pushes the price up.

some of the apps on the google android systems make me want a new phone (the google sky app looks great, based on the gps and the mag field direction shows the sky as you see it...fantastic) - these phones are mobile computers not phones.
