I still can't enhance my photos to my liking. But then with my photos you would need more than PSP ;)

Which version of PSP do you have Lona?

I use version 7 which has some great photo enhancement tools under Effects | Enhance Photo ;)

It is version 7 but you haven't seen my photos. They are all scratched and ancient :(

There's an enhancement to remove scratches, Lona, but don't know how good it is.   :-";"xx

Have you tried the Automatic scratch removal tool Lona? It is really very good.

I have used it to retouch a few of my old black and white baby photos, which were quite heavily crumpled.

The trick is to work on small areas at a time.

Whiskas if you open PSP there will be somewhere in the tool bar at the top for options or preferences, cant just remember which at the moment.Go in there and look for file associations and tick the ones you want ie jpg and gif plus any others that you think you may want to manipulate later  :-*

I see what you mean Lona :(

Because it is such a small, low resolution file, it is difficult to make much of an improvement to it.

Do you have access to the original so you can scan it at a higher resolution?

I've emailed you my best attempt ??? See what you think ...
