Vodafone says it will start selling the iPhone in the UK on 14 January 2010.
It is the latest of the UK's major phone networks to offer the iPhone to customers.

cool... but surely you just want a google phone.
-
:horror: Actually, I'd like to try one, just to see what they are like. :)
-
You're a phoneaholic, aren't you, Simon. ;D
-
;D

I'd love an iphone tbh. but I think an android based one would do it.
-
I think I'd give Android a while to develop further yet. Perhaps in a year or so, it will be my next one! :)
-
Is that before or after the iPhone? ;D
-
I will NEVER have an iPhone! ;D
-
How much are we betting? ;D
-
yeah.. I was thinking the same... say the same tomorrow.
-
I'm bidding on an HTC HD2 at the moment. ;D
-
Note the 'at the moment' Sam.
Do you have a cupboard full of spare and broken phones, Simon. ;)
-
No, because I sell most of them back on eBay.
-
You must be a good customer for eBay then. ;D
-
No need to hold back on the Android based fone Si as you can update it as you go along.
I think because of the development of the iphone over the years most the desired stuff is already for Android and it's nice to be in a developing market.
I haven't used WM6 but from what i hear Android is way more attractive already.
Sam would be like a pig in sh*t with a Android open source fone

Trouble is, Cam, there isn't an Android phone I really like the look of at the moment.

They are just a bit too expensive to run in Canada at the moment - they all want long and expensive contracts, though back here I've been so tempted. Looking forward to decent mobile choices when I come back permanently .

Lizzie wants one of the android phones but she likes thin phones. Really having an issue finding a nice looking android phone that is thin. Though I think she quite likes the look of the Tattoo one. Though I have to say how much I hate the Orange shop. Why not have functional phones on display? And why after approximately 80s in the shop do 2 members of staff have to ask if we are ok? I felt like saying no, I'd be much better if you just f***ed off. :santa:
-
Been there, Sam, and told them! Although, perhaps slightly more politely. :)
-
lol
-
Mind you, telesales callers get told to f*** off! I'm on TPS, and ex-directory, so they shouldn't have my number in the first place. >:(
-
Actually, they have to have your number in order not to call it. It's the latter bit which tends to fail.
-
Isn't that a catch 22?
-
It's meant to be a catch all. ;)
