Bill Gates teaches a kindergarten class to count to ten.
“1, 2, 3, 3.1, 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10.”

;D The only two I haven't used were Vista and 8. But wasn't there also an 8.1?
-
Didn't know there were 1 and 2 incarnations before 3.0...they must have been really good :D
-
Yes there were. But both were very primitive and looked nothing like Windows 3.

Windows 3.0 was primitive enough. 1 and 2 must have been positively Neanderthal :woot:

They were not much more than File Explorer. Graphics didn't appear until 3.0 which was a dull version of 3.1. I think there was a version called Windows NT following on from 3.1.

I have a feeling that Mrs Clive used it for a while but she is now Apple to the core.

I have a iPad that is used infrequently and Mrs Den has one which has cost me a fortune because she has discovered Ebay.
I would rather my desktop any day but very rarely use my laptop as I find it so slow compared. I'm thinking of fitting a SSD in the laptop in the hope it makes it just like the desktop. ;D
Apple are bringing out a new operating system for iPads which should improve them a lot and the IOS will only be for phones and older iPads.

Mrs Clive's iPad had an update yesterday but it didn't suffer any ill effects.
