Apple revealed a surprisingly low $29.99 price for its Mac OS X update, codenamed "Lion".
Available exclusively from the Mac App Store, it will be released in July and boasts 250 new features - many of which move Apple's desktop OS closer in style and looks to that of the iPhone.
To give Macs more of an "app" feel, OS X Lion will allow applications to become full-screen. In a move that will surprise no-one, the Mac App Store is built into the OS as well.
