Title: Sound Bar
Post by: Clive on April 19, 2022, 18:54
I've just installed a Hisense soundbar recommended by ComputerActive.  The cost was a mere £79 and I have to say it's a gamechanger.  Your TV really has to have an HDMI ARC socket otherwise you will have to connect by bluetooth or optical.  I'm quite taken aback by the quality and sound separation.   :thumb:

I've often looked at them, as a possible space saving exercise, but my current TV has quite a wide pedestal, so there wouldn't be room for a soundbar underneath the screen, and it's pointless having it anywhere else.  When I eventually buy a new TV, I would look at one with the sound built into the screen, as they're supposed to be quite good.  Nothing beats a proper home cinema audio system though, so I don't think I will be giving mine up for a while yet.
