Post by: joudi on October 01, 2004, 02:39
Download AutoDeFrag v1.2 (AutoDefrag.exe), and copy it to a folder in the Windows 2000 computer's path.

http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/13/8/13-8-25.shtml

When run without parameters, it will launch the Windows 2000 defragger for each disk, one after the other.

If you provide a drive letter parameter, it will only launch the defragger for that drive.

To schedule a defragmentation pass of each drive, starting at 10:00PM, every day:

1. Open a CMD.EXE window.
2. Type the following command and press Enter:

AT 22:00 /interactive /every:M,T,W,Th,F,S,Su "autodefrag"

NOTE:   AutoDeFrag.exe is only designed to work on English language versions of Windows 2000.
