Title: Forum Upgrade
Post by: sam on July 01, 2006, 12:43: HTML and thus SWF files are once again permitted, the issue has (well should have, tell me if you find any loopholes) that stopped this from working has been fixed!

Remember to include a SWF file use:

I've noticed that the 'View posts since last visit' feature used to have a number next to it (the number of posts made since last visit) but now its dissapeared.

thanks DJ - I had noticed it, was just ignoring it, hoping now one would see it, lol! I think I rewrote some of the code to do this last time, I'll look into it. I personally also liked that, but then again it does ad a bit of mistique! lol

I think that was actually a small mod, Sam. I'll try and find it again.

I did notice one thing tonight

I changed my email address in my profile

i didnt get the standard authorization

I got an email from simon saying my account had been closed and he had opened it again

my account was then authorized

Post by: Simon on July 12, 2006, 21:57: I think this is due to us having to monitor new accounts, because of an overwhelming amount of spammers trying to sign up to promote their websites (without success, I might add!). The change of email was probably enough to activate the alert to Admins, and as a security measure, also to deactivate the account, until it was re-approved by an Admin.

If any members have a similar problem, please email an Admin, and we will sort it out for you.
