Title: PC soooo slow
Post by: KRO on June 22, 2008, 14:38: help, can anyone suggest any easy repair for my very slow pc, i'm just surfing on my usual websites and it's so painfully slow for some reason.....

If it's the PC, can you give us a basic spec, eg processor & speed, memory, hard drive & OS.

If it's the latter, what is your downstream sync speed, noise margin & attenuation. Can you do a BT speed test at http://test.speedtester.bt.com:50301/

AOLaverage 2.5mb

upload 0.11mb
AOL average 0.3mb

ps i'm afraid this means little to me !!!

Post by: Rik on June 22, 2008, 19:01: Log into the router interface, usually 192.168.0.1 for Netgears. Click on the stats button at the bottom of the page.
