Title: Problem installing Win 98SE

Hi Guys ,I am having a problem installing win 98se for some reason,I have done a zero fill and used Fdisk to partition and format it. Starts to install but as soon as it does it says this : boot sector write !! virus: continue y/n?
 It wont accept Y or N and my only option is to close down again.I have just tried a different win 98se disc and get the same message.
Any ideas greatly appreciated  ???

Thats easy Sandra!

Just disable the antivirus protection in your BIOS and start the installation again.

Sorted now Adept,thanks for the quick response.I thought of that when my friend told me about the message before he brought it over but I am not used to Amibios setup and had looked twice for it before I started without seeing it  ::)
I will now go and stand in the corner and hang my head in shame and wait for Rodders to administer the 30 lashes  :(

Sandra!  I'm shocked!  You have me figured all wrong -- I usually work in multiples of six.  8)

According to my maths Rodders 30 is 5 multiples of 6,or did you mean your women that you doin multiples of 6  ::)

I am not a blonde  ::) I am a free woman ( Misquoted from The Prisoner ) and of reasonable to fair intelligence ,or so I have been told  ;)
