Google has launched an online tool that helps people make and publish simple web pages in just minutes.

Called Google Page Creator, the free software is still in testing, but lets people build high-quality web pages without having to learn HTML or use complex software.

The browser-based tool lets you edit your pages right on screen, and what you see is exactly how your finished product will look.

Finished pages will be hosted via Google and will be live on your own site at http://yourgmailusername.googlepages.com

To use Google Page Creator, you need to have a Google account and sign up through Google Labs. However, due to heavy demand, Google has temporarily stopped new people signing-up.

People can add their email address to a wait list, and will be contacted when Google starts supporting additional users.
