So do I.  I prefer strong cheddars, though, and I'm not really all that adventurous.

I'm with Gill. :)

I prefer the cheeses with strong flavours too, although sometimes a mild but stringy cheese can be fun.  A mix of mozzarella and mature cheddar suits me fine on tortillas and pizzas.

You might as well eat a candle.  :(

I like Edam.  Makes a nice snack.

Red Leicester or a mature Cheddar does better. :)

I like Marmite Cheddar. ;D And... Stilton, Cheddar, Red Leicester, Cheshire, Brie, Gorgonzola etc etc etc ;D

Soft cheeses do nothing for me, and I can't stand anything with mould in it either.  :ack:

So, no fired Camembert for you then?

It's a sort of 'strong' Brie, and often served fried, not fired. Bloody keyboard. ;D

Right now I'm baking a new recipe for onion bread.  It should be lovely with cheese and pickle :) .

Mmmmmmmmm...... I was right.  It's gorgeous :) .

I also made some veggie burgers using courgettes grown in the allotment.  Unbelievably, it's an Ainsley Harriott recipe yet it's really tasty.  Oh, and here's a link to the recipe, just for Sam :) :

A lucky 5/7 for me.

If I could take but one type of cheese with me to a desert island, it would probably have to be Jarlsberg.  However, I'd be quite likely to go out of my mind if I didn't have a supply of Brie to top my fishcakes with.

You're stuck on a desert island and you worry about fishcakes topped with Brie?  There's got to be blue blood running through your veins.

Not Gorgonzola, Clive?

I love Gorgonzola Rik.  But I'm very fond of most cheeses.   8-)

There's an online Italian deli called nifeislife (no, I don't know either) that sells the best Gorgonzola dolce I've tasted, Clive. The hardship is finding enough other items to make the postage worthwhile.  :o: ;)

I thought I had expensive tastes Rik but I'm a complete amateur compared to you!     The Gorgonzola sold by my local Co-op is good enough for me.   o:)
